Dassault Systemes SIMULIA application powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platforms delivers realistic simulation of the product that enables users to explore real-world behaviour of the product.

The booming dynamic Indian electro-mobility segment faces many challenges, product innovations, improved battery range performance along with safety and reliability become key differentiators for automotive companies. Compliance with industry regulations, analyzing radiated emissions on PCB and wiring harness, identifying and mitigating risks at an early stage are critical factors too. Dassault Systems says the Simulia application, powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, delivers realistic simulation applications that enable users to explore real-world behavior of the product under varying usage conditions. The CST Studio Suite part of Simulia apps is a high-performance 3D electromagnetic analysis (EMI-EMC) software package for designing, analyzing and optimizing electromagnetic components and systems especially in the EV development process.

Mahesh Babu, CEO, Mahindra Electric Mobility said, “Electric vehicles are now mainstream. From two-wheelers, three-wheelers, cars and commercial vehicles, the electric mobility revolution has received a significant push and the industry is poised for big growth. Technology will play a crucial role in developing the EV ecosystem including in design, simulation, manufacturing and developing the overall vehicle cycle. We at Mahindra Electric have deployed the right digital and simulation tools to drive this collaborative electric journey coherently in the company.”

As the Indian government is promised to make half of the countries mobility products to be electric by 2030. Environmental concerns, international laws, regulatory bodies, and consumer expectations are pushing automobile manufacturers to bring innovative new products, designs systems at a much faster pace in the evolving EV segment in the country. This has reduced the time of a design concept, visualization, manufacturing, and supply.

Samson Khaou, Managing Director, India, Dassault Systèmes said, “We are aligned with the country’s mission for a sustainable and green mobility landscape. EVs are certainly a way forward and we are geared up to address the EV requirements with our portfolio of industry solution experiences based on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to address each of the segments – OEMs, suppliers, and start-ups in the automotive industry. The top EV makers across the world rely on our design, simulation, and manufacturing, project management tools for the development of EVs and for marketing them to consumers.”

How AR & VR is Reshaping Our Industries?

AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) is rewriting the meaning of visual communication. It is now possible that we can create our own reality out of our current environment with the help of the mobile phone, camera, smart glass, and VR headsets, which takes us to the virtually created environment where we can move around our self.  With such unreal, impactful technology, visual communication is finding new possibilities and much more precise experience to every sector it enters. We are going to deep dive into some of how AR/VR will change the way industries are reshaping the near future. 1. AR & VR in the Workplace. Workplaces are already changing with technologies and new tools. VR and AR are playing a significant role in reshaping the workplace of the future. Soon, VR headsets are going to replace our work desk and will shift the way teams learn, interact, and communicate with customers in ways never thought possible. The idea of accessing real-time data w

3D Generative Innovator: A browser-based on-the-cloud generative modeling environment

3D Generative Innovator The 3D Generative Innovator role delivers a browser-based on-the-cloud generative modeling environment that uniquely combines graphical visual scripting and interactive 3D-modeling, with the ability to use one or the other interchangeably at any time. This role extension allows you to design any shapes and patterns using CATIA parametric modeling technology with high automation. This new, intuitive and smart approach allows creative people in Architecture, Design/Styling and Engineering to quickly design, explore and validate variations of complex, repetitive and non-regular shapes and patterns. All created geometry is available to be used in the world of detailed design and manufacture through the rich portfolio of roles on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. Uniquely, at any stage of the design, the user can swap freely between the graph and the interactive 3D, as these are bi-directionally dynamically sync’ed. For instance, the user can start a command
